Keep getting Windows Boot Option Menu when I boot....
Hi, I have two hard drives C and D. On C is win98 and on D is XP Pro, when I start up, the XP boot manager gives me the option of XP pro (default) or win98. If I wanted to create another partition on D and install another operating system, (a second copy of win98) how do I add this to the XP boot manager program.

My preferred option is to set up "Exit to DOS.pif" to "Specify a new..." and use that (via ShutDown | MS-DOS Mode) as a generic entry point to "DOS", that has a multi-boot, etc. But I don't like running the GUI via Win.com on top of all the DOS settings.

Memory Resource Controller Add Boot Option
I have Win98SE on C drive and a virtually empty D drive. When I boot or reboot I still get the option to choose XP or 98SE. It's a small time-consuming inconvenience that I would like to eliminate. I would like to boot straight into 98. I used Partition Magic 7 to "delete" XP. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Dual boot options?
I think that grub-pc should search for such options when upgrading from grub2, and set them in the generated config file. The config file is also missing an example of how to set global kernel boot options at all. I had to read the code to figure out that I should put a GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX line in /etc/default/grub.

I have cd rom as master, when I boot up it recognizes my cdrom. This happened after I installed Norton Clean Sweep and forgot to remove install cd in drive. when it booted up instead of boot options it gave me some norton options. the computer is booting, the only boot options are to boot windows nt or windows nt in a vga mode. My shutdown options will not let me choose to reboot in ms-dos mode either.
